Ruby Lee Craft

Ruby Lee Craft, 92, of Burr Ferry, LA, passed from this life on Friday, September, 7, 2018.

Ruby loved her precious cat “Miss Kitty” and adored her poodles.  She was passionate about her love for the Lord.  Her favorite past times were hunting, fishing and working in her flower gardens.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Roy L. Blackmon and Vonal of Burr Ferry, LA, Lewis Corky Grantham and Linda of Sulphur, LA, Kenneth Reed and Betty of Lake Charles, LA; daughter, Lesley Mangus and Charles of Leesville, LA; eleven grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, fourteen great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel D. Craft; son, Nathan Williams; brothers, Archie, Bill and Corby Williams; sisters, Louvinia, Beatrice and Willie Mae Williams; 1 great grandson, Justin Todd Grantham.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 4:00-9:00 PM and will continue on Tuesday from 9:00 AM till time of funeral at 2:00 PM. The visitation and service will be held at Oak Grove Congregational Methodist Church in Burr Ferry, LA.  Brother Fred Hartzell and Brother George Jeane will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be, Andrew Blackmon, Brandon Blackmon, Clint Goins, Cody Goins, Curtis Blackmon, Frankie Goins, Kevin Goins and Todd Grantham.  Burial to  follow at Plunkaway Cemetery in Burr Ferry, LA.
