Ruby L. Whittington

Ruby L. Whittington 80, of DeRidder, LA passed from this life on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation was held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services were held on Friday, April 16, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA with Bro. LeRoy Stracner officiating.  Interment  was at Hennigan Cemetery in Merryville, LA.

Ruby is survived by daughter Bonnie and husband LeRoy Johnson of Deridder, LA; grandchildren Andy "Goober" Matthis, Vicky Matthis, Danny Matthis, Ricky Matthis and Debbie Matthis; great grandchildren Randal, Derrik, Ashley, Justin, Kacy, Courtney, Brandon, JR, Katlin, Danny Jr. and Aden; great great grandchild Levi.

She was preceded in death by mother Annie Broxson; father Charlie Broxson and husband Robert Whittington.
