Tuesday, August 31, 2010 from 11:00 A.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Rev. Roy Hoosier & Vic Warrick will officiate. Interment will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.

Mr. Higginbotham is survived by Wife: Glenda Higginbotham of Merryville, LA; Sons: Thomas Self & wife Joyce of Jasper, TX, Troy Rhodes & wife Kyle of Snow Hill, MD; Daughters: Sandy LaLand & husband Ronnie of Alexandria, LA, Pam Mejia & husband Julio of Colfax, LA, Susie Terry of Florien, LA, Tricia Flower & husband Darrell of Merryville, LA, Kayla Mathews & husband Shane of San Augustine, TX; Brother: Troy Higginbotham of Merryville, LA; Sister: Lydia Parker of Merryville, LA; 15 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by: Father - Jewes Higginbotham, Mother - Effie Parker, Brother - Hilton Higginbotham, Brother - Milton Higginbotham, and Sister - Farlene Higginbotham Massengill.
