Ronald Jay McCain, 56, of Bon Wier, TX, passed from this life on Monday, April 4, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, DeRodney McCain of Newton, TX, Rodrick McCain, Aidan Floyd, both of Orange, TX; mother, Minnie McCain of Bon Wier, TX; brothers, Sweeney McCain, Jr. of Bon Wier, TX, Carl Junior McCain of Jasper, TX, Donald Ray McCain of Bon Wier, TX, Curtis Ray McCain of Austin, TX; sisters, Theresa McCain of Rosepine, LA, Rose Mary McCain of Houston, TX and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Sweeney McCain, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Alvin Peters will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Ricky Issac, Timothy Issac, Hollis Issac, Allen McCain, Otis McCain, Melvin McCain. Honorary pallbearers will be Sweeney McCain III, Christopher Flemmones, Alex McCain, Desmond McCain, Donald Barnes, Aaron McCain and DeRodney McCain. Burial will follow at Belgrade Cemetery in Bon Wier, TX.
