Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Interment will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, Louisiana.

Mr. Spencer is survived by Son: Jimmy Dee Spencer of Austin, TX; Daughter: Nora & husband Leigh "Bubba" Fuselier of DeRidder, LA; Grandchildren: Gavin Bryce Fuselier of DeRidder, LA, Lane Spencer Fuselier o DeRidder, LA; Brothers: Rudy Spencer of Tujunga, CA, Billy Spencer of Dinuba, CA; Sister:
Barbara Davis of Brush, CO; A host of nieces and nephews.

He was a Vietnam Veteran and later worked at Fort Polk for 37 years, retiring to spend time with his family. He was a loving father and a proud grandfather. His children and grandchildren were the center oof his life.
