Rodney Wayne Goins

Rodney Wayne Goins, 74, of DeQuincy, LA, passed from this life on Friday, May 29, 2015 at his home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Anthony Ray of Sulphur, LA, and Rodney Glenn Ray and wife Rebecca of Merryville, LA; stepsons, Dale Baldridge and wife Leslie, and Tommy Baldridge all of Lafayette, LA; daughter, Jessica Allen and husband Joshua of Dequincy, LA; stepdaughter, Angela Baldridge of Arizona; brother Bryan Goins and wife Cecilia of Lumberton, TX; sister, Lucille Poole of Singer, LA; 5 granddaughters; 7 grandsons; 7 great granddaughters; and 1 great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Goins; parents, Forest and Alberta Goins; brothers, J.B., Forrest, Vernon Sr., and Kenneth Goins.

Visitation will be held at Good Hope Baptist Church in Singer, LA on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from 5:00pm until 10:00pm and on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 12:30pm until 2:00pm.  Funeral service will begin at 2:00pm on Sunday, May 31, 2015.  Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer.  Rev. Jimmy Clark will officiate.
