Rodney Granberry

Rodney O. Granberry, 78, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Rex Granberry and wife, Beverly, John Granberry and Rachel of DeRidder, LA; companion, Janis Jones of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Robert Granberry and wife, Sara, Eric Granberry and wife, MaryAnn, Kelsey Plummer and husband, Caleb, Jack Granberry, Peter Dubos, Ava Dubos, all of DeRidder, LA; great grandchildren, Reece Granberry, Blake Anderson, Alexis Granberry, Austyn Granberry, Ashlan Granberry, Aedan Gillen and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lela Granberry, parents, Julius and Claudia Granberry; brother, Stanford Granberry; sisters, Betty Jo Cryar, Louise Varner, Fairy Granberry.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 am, Monday, February 7, 2022, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Tim Deason will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Austin Granberry, Peter Dubos, Blake Anderson, Elray Wellman, LeWayne “Nothin” Self, Greg Monroe. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
