Rocky Gordon, 48, passed from this life on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at West Cal Cam Hospital in Sulpur, Louisiana.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Antioch Baptist Church in Edgerly, Louisiana from 3 PM through the night until the funeral service on Wednesday, March 11, 2009.  Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Antioch Baptist Church in Edgerly, Louisiana at 11 AM with Bro. Russell Beard officiating.  Burial will follow at Doyle Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana.

He is survived by the following: Wife: Betty Gordon of Starks, Louisiana; Son: Rocky Gordon II of Starks, Louisiana; Daughter: Savannah Gordon of Starks, Louisiana; Brothers: Johnny Sams and wife Sandra of Snellville, Georgia and Darvis Gordon and wife Brenda of Anacoco, Louisiana; Sisters: Linda Legg Josey and husband Tommy of Anacoco, Louisiana, Jonell Mrtinez and husband Johnny of Anacoco, Louisiana, and Lanetta Holton and husband Neal of Leesville, Louisiana.  He was preceded in death by parents: Myrtle and Freeman Gordon; brother: Donald Legg; and sister: Kay Legg Whittington.
