Robert L. Lambert

Robert L. Lambert, 42, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, June 27, 2023.

Robert was a graduate of DeRidder High School class of 1999. He was on the All American All State Academic Team and as a member of the student council he served as student body president in 1998. Robert was a lifetime member of the Cole-Miers VFW Auxiliary.  He enjoyed working as an auto salesman at Benoit Motors. He was a die-hard New York Yankees fan. His true joy in life were his great niece and nephew, Cassidee and Carter. He loved being an uncle and wherever they were, you were sure to find him!  Robert was loved by all who knew him and will be dearly missed.

Those left to cherish his memory are mother, Sonja Lambert of DeRidder, LA; brother, Lloyd L. Lambert III; niece, Britney Good; great niece, Cassidee Hudson; great nephew, Carter Bradley and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd L. Lambert, Jr.; grandparents, Lloyd and Betty Lambert, Thomas and Peggy Gruber.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 Pm at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 30, 2023, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Reverend Corey Townsley will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be CT Kiely, Russel Gruber, Jon Doyle, Clifford Gruber, Thomas Gruber, Chris Boyett, Jason Benoit, Todd Schulz. Honorary Pallbearer will be Carter Bradley. Burial will follow at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
