Robert C. Hester, 88, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, June 25, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Earnest Hester of Merryville, LA; sister, Christine Longoria of Merryville, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Hester, originally of MD; parents, Cliff and Lucy Hester; three sisters: Margie Longoria, Georgia Vowell and Angelene Havens.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 DATE, from 5:00 PM TO 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10 AM, Saturday, July 2, 2022, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Ernest Hester and Mike Clark will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Ryan Stark, Arrie Stark, Joe Hester, Shane Lanier, Levi Lanier, Michael Longoria and Charles Smith. Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
