Robert Eugene Marks, Sr., 64, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, June 20, 2014.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Richard Marks and wife Lydia of DeRidder, LA, Terry Marks and wife Lindsey of Terra Haute, IN, and Douglas Marks, of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Angel Marks of Utah, Jessica Mele and husband Jared of Lake Charles, LA, and Amanda Marks of Ville Platte, LA; brother, John Herman "Sonny" Marks, Jr. of Pensacoloa, FL; sisters, Frances Dickinson and Norma White and husband Wayne all of DeRidder, LA; and 9 grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Marks, Sr.; daughter, Rebecca Jean Marks Watson; son, Jonathan Owen Marks; sister, Mary McKinney.

Visitation and Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Visitation is from 9:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow in Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Bro. Jerry Day will officiate.
