Robert "Bobby" Palmer

Robert “Bobby” Gale Palmer, age 82, passed away on May 16, 2024, at his home in DeRidder, Louisiana.

He was born August 15, 1941in DeRidder, LA to Albert Gale Palmer and Vivian Prather Palmer Simmons. He married Carolyn Kay Richard on June 7, 1964.

Bobby is survived by his wife Carolyn Richard Palmer; daughter Pamela Palmer; daughter Paige Palmer Mullican and husband Jess; son Richard Palmer and wife Natasha; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters Elizabeth Cook; Virginia Hataway and Charlotte Ellsaesser; and brother Kenneth Palmer.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Gale Palmer and Vivian Prather Palmer Simmons; brothers, Richard Wayne Palmer and Bert Palmer; and sisters, Alice Sue Palmer Nelson and Mary Palmer Campbell Carbo.

Friends and family are invited to remember and celebrate Bobby’s life at 5:00 pm on Monday, May 20th, 2024, at the home of Paige and Jess Mullican.
