Robert "Bob" Myers

Robert “Bob” Myers, 71 of Merryville, LA passed from this life on Monday, January 7, 2013.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Robert Myers, Jr. and wife Becky of Russell, Kentucky and Jackie Freeman and wife Peggy of Kirbyville, Texas; daughters, Rhonda Nichols and husband Stormy of Call, Texas and Tonya Royer and husband Paul of DeQuincy, Louisiana; sisters, Mildred McDonald of DeRidder, Louisiana, Jackie Womack and husband Bill of Merryville, Louisiana and Wanda Keel and husband Burt of DeRidder, Louisiana; grandchildren, Justin Nichols and wife Casey, Brittany Nichols, Shelby Royer, Jon Royer, Lathyn Myers, Valerie Freeman and Jackie Lynn Freeman; 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Ami Myers, brother, D.T. Myers and sister, Lou Edna Thompson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA at 10:00am.  Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.  Bro. Carlton Jackson and Bro. Danny Bentson will officiate.
