Robbie Havens

Robbie Evelyn Roberts Havens, 67, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Robbie taught elementary school for 34 years, 33 of which were at Merryville High School. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Merryville, where she was a choir member, organist, VBS director, Sunday School teacher, and director of Team Kids. Robbie loved spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, and was an avid quilter. She touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is very loved and will be missed dearly.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of forty-seven years, Bruce Havens of Merryville, LA; son, Matthew Havens and Erin of Ragley, LA; daughter, Jaime Bell and Patrick of Merryville, LA; brother, Gary Roberts and Martha of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Brett Bell, Kirsten Bell, Jackson Havens, Tatum Havens; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary Evelyn Roberts.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue at 9:00 AM, Saturday, May 8, 2021 until the time of the service at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Merryville, LA. Brother Wayne Squyres will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Chris Roberts, Robert Moss, Stephen Hebert, Ronald Hebert, Scott Havens, Josh Havens. Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
