Robbie Beane

Detective Robbie Beane, 34, of Merryville, Louisiana, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 5, 2009.  Visitation will be held at the First Pentecostal Church of DeRidder on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 5 PM until 9 PM. Visitation will continue on Friday, May 8, 2009 from 8 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM. Funeral Services will be held at the First Pentecostal Church of DeRidder on Friday, May 8, 2009 at 11 AM with Bro. Kennis Smith and Bro. Marshall Coiteau officiating. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.

Robbie worked for the Beauregard Parish Sheriff’s Department for 14 years.  He was part of the SWAT, diving team and a detective.  He served on the board for the LTPOA and DeRidder Lion’s Club.  He was dedicated to the work of the Lord and the Worship leader at Christ Way Church of DeRidder.  He was a devoted father and husband.  Robbie will be dearly missed by a host of family and friends.

Survivors include the following; Wife: Nikki Beane of Merryville, Louisiana; Daughter: Joslynn Beane of Merryville, Louisiana; Mother: Mary Beane of Merryville, Louisiana; Brother: Richard Beane of Merryville, Louisiana; Sisters: Veronica Arnold of DeRidder, Louisiana and Alicia Brown of DeRidder, Louisiana; and Grandmother: Elsie Whiddon of Merryville, Louisiana.  He was preceded in death by: Father: Eugene Beane.
