Ricky Lynn Johnson passed away on October 4, 2009 in Leesville, Louisiana.

Visitation will be from 3:00 -10:00 P.M. October 5, 2009 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home DeRidder, Louisiana and Funeral Services will be 10:00 A.M. October 6, 2009 at Pentecostal Gospel Lighthouse, DeRidder, Louisiana. Officiating will be Rev. Ed Tilley and Rev. Louis Magee.  Burial will immediately follow at Oak Forest Cemetery, Leesville, La.


Survivors Include: Wife: Kathy Johnson of Leesville, La.; Parents:  Manfried “Bit” and Christine Johnson of Leesville, La.; Sons: Michael “Mudd” Johnson of Leesville, Caleb “CB” Johnson of Leesville, La. and Joshua Johnson of Pensacola, Fl.; Step-Children:  Casey & Ricky Faulk of Longville, La. and Amy & Chad Ellender also of Longville; Brothers & Sisters: Robert and Denise Johnson of Leesville, La., Elizabeth “Lizzy” and C.J. Romero of New Iberia, Peggy and James Northcutt of Leesville, Janice and Jimmy Doyle of Leesville, Manfield “Steve” and Wenda Johnson of Anacoco, Mark and Chelon Johnson of Anacoco, Kim Johnson of Leesville, Christopher “Cooter” and Jessica Johnson of Leesville, Michael “ Mikey D” Johnson of Leesville, Salina “Lener” Johnson of Leesville, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Grandchildren:  Landon Purdon, Tyler Ellender, Talynn Ellender, Savannah Faulk & Montana Faulk.


Ricky loved his family and was a member of Pentecostal Gospel Lighthouse. He also was a member of the North American Hunt Club. He loved to hunt and ride his Harley.


Preceded in Death by:  Grandparents Elbert & Gertrude Johnson, and Arthur Steve & Mary Vincent
