Richard Lee Rodriguez, 67, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, November 29, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Loree Elliott of DeRidder, LA; sons, Shane Rodriguez and Jenay of Oberlin, LA, Richie Gill Rodriguez and Laura of Leesville, LA, Scottie Gill Rodriguez of Leesville, LA, Jeremie Rodriguez and Pamela of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Misty Monk and Brandon of Anacoco, LA, Tanya Mcilwain and Jason of DeRidder, LA, Kathy Rodriguez of Anacoco, LA; brothers, Floyd Rodriguez, Sr. and Delores of DeRidder, LA, Grady Dockrey, Sr. and Stephanie of DeRidder, LA, Dennis Rodriguez and Gaye of Denham Springs, LA, Lee Hogan of Chalmette, LA; sisters, Carolyn Yancey of Leesville, LA, Doris Goins of Pickering, LA, Patricia Dockrey of DeRidder, LA, Mary Hayes and Johnny of KY, Delores Guillory of St. Francisville, LA, Juanita Warner of New Iberia, LA, Lois Rodriguez of Jackson, LA; eighteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Rodriguez; mother, June Dockery; step-father, Paul Dockrey, Sr.; brother, Paul Dockrey, Jr.; sister, Linda Dockrey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Grady Dockrey, Jr. will officiate the service. Pallbearers will Jerry Wheeler, Cody Yancey, Andrew Rodriguez, Jason Mcilwain, Dylan Rodriguez, Chris Yancey. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
