Richard Lee "Dick" Ashley

Richard Lee “Dick” Ashley, 82, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, January 21, 2020.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 62 years, Elaine Terrell Ashley of Merryville, LA; sons, Rick Lee Ashley and Irene of Houston, TX and Rodney Lee Ashley and Karen Lynn of Gloucester, VA; brother, Dennis Ashley of Ohio; sisters, Judy Jewell and Alice Mick, both of Ohio; grandchildren, Shane Mikal Ashley, Jessica Cornejo, Tanya Perez, Lauren Stegall, Dustin Stegall; great grandchildren,  Ivan, Brennon, Isaiah, Madilyn, Xailyn, Savannah, Hayven, Cain, Kade; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Clara Ashley; brothers, Carl Ashley and Roger Ashley; sisters, Marge Ventura, Joyce Myers, Frida Campbell, Dolly Frazee and Sheila Ashley.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 from 12:00 to 6:00 PM at the home of Richard and Elaine Ashley, at 944 Frank St. Merryville, LA.

The family welcomes loved ones and friends to stop by and share memories of Richard.
