Richard Edward "Sparky" Beane

Richard Edward “Sparky” Beane, 60, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Thomas Beane and Shawn of Merryville, LA; stepdaughter, Melissa Ducote and Dustin of Orange, TX; mother, Mary Beane of Merryville, LA; sister, Alicia Leeds of Merryville, LA; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene Beane; brother, Robert Beane; sister, Veronica Peavy; maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Jason Fortenberry will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Dalton Hargrove, Thomas Beane, Timothy Leeds, Justin Maddox, Dustin Ducote, Michael Sigler. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
