Rhonda Faye Carroll Deason, 64, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 11, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jeremy Deason of Cravens, LA; daughter, Shandi Blankenbaker and Jeffery of Rosepine, LA; mother, Meldaise Carroll Johnson of Rosepine, LA; brother, Lester Carroll and Janice of Toledo Bend, LA; sister, Velena Sadler and Jeff of Rosepine, LA; grandchildren, Kailea Blankenbaker, Kaitlin Blankenbaker, Garrett Deason; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Reverend Alfred Carroll; brother, Douglas Carroll; the father of her children, Garlion Deason.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and will continue at 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Gravel Hill Baptist Church in Pitkin, LA. Brother Walter Collins will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jeff Sadler, JayBo Sadler, Cody Strickland, Jason Carroll, Tyler Carroll, Trey Carroll. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery in Pitkin, LA.
