Raymond "Ray" F. Duginski

Raymond “Ray” F. Duginski, 85, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, July 11, 2021.

Ray proudly served his country in the United States Army for twenty years and twenty-eight days. He received the Bronze Star and was a Korean War and Vietnam Veteran.

Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Richard Duginski and Shelia of Pinedale, WY, Robert Geissler and Barbel of Germany; daughter, Mary Gibson of DeRidder, LA; sister, Ruth Ann Kleinschmit of WI; grandchildren, Dana Bowen and Niel, Karen Burns, Courtney Duginski, Daniel Gibson and Lacey, Dennis Geissler, Nina Geibler, Sarah Duginski and Denver, Ryan Duginski and Brittani; seventeen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Duginski; parents, Stanley and Harriet Duginski; brother, Norman Duginski.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM, Friday, July 16, 2021 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Deacon Al Weinnig will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Josh Morgan, Ryan Duginski, Rhonda Bailey, Derik Liebenstein, Skeet Burns, Shane Fowler and the United States Army Honors Team. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veteran’s Cemetery in Leesville, Louisiana.
