Ray Edward Trunick

Ray Edward Trunick, 75, of Lake Charles, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, January 13, 2018.

Mr. Ray retired from the United States Army after serving his country for 20 years.  He enjoyed fishing and visiting with friends.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Theodore “Ted” Trunick and wife Kimberley of Lake Charles, LA; grandchildren: Nicholas, Hannah, Domenic Skinner, Grayson Trunick, and Dr. Madison Saunders; great grandchildren, Molly and Zoey Skinner and a host of friends. Preceding him in death are his wife of 53 years, Patricia Trunick; daughter, Trishia Skinner; granddaughter, Chelsea Skinner; parents, Edward and Margaret Trunick.

Visitation and funeral service will be held on January 18, 2018 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA with visitation starting at 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM.  Father Jude Brunnert will officiate. Burial will follow at 2:00 PM at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
