Ray Charles Peters, Sr. 51, passed from this life on Friday, April 16, 2010 in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 10:00 A.M. until time of service at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA with Rev. Robert Mayes and Rev. Paul Holmes officiating.  Interment will be at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA

He is survived by wife Doris Faye Peters of DeRidder, LA; son: Ray Charles Peters of Newton, TX; daughters: Takecia Peters of DeRidder, LA and Natasha Johnson of DeRidder, LA; brothers: Jessie Peters of Poplarville, MS, Thomas and wife Norvelle Hadnot of DeRidder, LA and Felix Peters of DeRidder, LA; sisters: Sarah Ann Peters of Metairie, LA, Brenda Prater of DeRidder, LA, mary and husband David Williams of Prince George, VA; best friend: Earl Beasley; grandchildren: Akearra Williams, Kennedi Peters, Makenzie Vallaire and Kaleb Johnson.

He was preceded in death by father; Jimmy Peters; mother: Audrey Hadnot Peters and sister: Annie Jackson.
