Randal Arsan Burgess, 58, of Longville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 9, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Bonnie Spikes Burgess of Longville, LA; mother, Rebecca Bass of DeQuincy, LA; nephew and niece, Matthew Burgess of Longville, LA, Bridgett Burgess of DeQuincy, LA; stepchildren, Brittany Smart and Kyle of Rosepine, LA, Kaitlyn Smart and Ryan of Creola, LA, Rachel Whipkey and Brendon of Leesville, LA, Jacob Smart and Kassidi of Ruston, LA, Harles Smart, III and Dustie of Ball, LA, M.J. Smart of Ball, LA, Bill LeBlanc of Westlake, LA, Shannon Trahan of Westlake, LA; uncle, Ellory Burgess of Longville, LA; aunt, Shirley Young of Kinder, LA; grandchildren, Kadence, Madison, Hudson, Mason, Huntleigh, Emmilynn, Karson, Oaklee, Andie Kait, Zach, McKenzy; and a host of extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Matthew Burgess; brother, James Burgess; previous wife, Mary Spears Burgess.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at First United Pentecostal Church of DeQuincy, LA and will continue at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 12, 2021 until the time of service at 3:00 PM. Brother Carlton Jackson, Jr., Brother Mark Fontenot, Brother Larry Talent, Brother Clifford Brown will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jed Gore, Kyle Piacenza, Jacob Smart, Lexi Cagle, Keith Burgess, Kendell Furr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Matthew Burgess, Hudson Piacenza, Kadence Burgess, Mason Courville. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Longville, LA.
