Ramona Lee Hickman Carter

Ramona Lee Hickman Carter, 36, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Monday, September 28, 2015 at her home.  Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted friend, Dennis Noble of Bon Wier, TX; son, Zaethan Hickman of Merryville, LA; daughters, JaCinda Carter and Eunyana Hickman both of Merryville, LA; Dennis’ children, Dennis Williams, Jessica Williams, LaNesha Williams, and Nukeitha Noble; mother, Ester Hickman; father Daniel Hickman Jr. both of Merryville, LA; brothers, Mitchell Henry and wife Gwendolyn of DeRidder, LA, Nathaniel Williams and wife Molly of Bon Wier, TX, and Daniel Hickman of Alexandria, LA; sisters, Cindy Powell and husband Donald of Merryville, LA, Jacqueline Worthen and husband Daniel of Sugartown, LA, and Katherine White and husband Richard of St. Louis, MO; and a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael James Hickman and Joseph Hickman.

Visitation and Funeral service will be held at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Visitation will be Friday, October 2, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 10:00am until 2:00pm with funeral service beginning at 2:00pm.  Burial will follow at Almadane Cemetery in Knight Community.  Rev. Ben Derrick will officiate.
