Rafael Rivera Davila

Rafael Rivera Davila, 65, of Alexandria, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

Rafael was a Staff Sergeant in the US Army, serving his country for 20 years. He was loved and will by missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Charlsetta Davila of Alexandria, LA; sons, Rafael Davila of Alexandria, LA, Erik Davila and Chiquita of Alexandria, LA; daughter, Tonya Coaston of Leesville, LA; brothers, Alfredo Davila, Tony Rivera, both of Catano, PR, Angel Gil of CA; sisters, Gloria Palomino, Carmen Martinez, Glady Rivera; five grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Flor and Isabell Davila.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 9:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Reverend Leverne Denmond will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Military Honors Team. Burial will follow at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
