Quinton Isaiah Anderson

d. April 26, 2015

April 12, 2009 - April 26, 2015

Quinton Isaiah Anderson, 6, of DeRidder, LA went to see Jesus, peacefully laying in his mommy's arms, on Sunday, April 26, 2015 in New Orleans, LA. He fought almost two years, with a great big, beautiful smile; now he is cancer free. Quinton was energetic, a great dancer and liked to fish. He was the sweetest boy in the world, smart and cool.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Angela Hennigan (Josh Tellis); father, Clinton Anderson (Melissa); sisters, Alexus, Amia, Alonna, Ahdonaijah, and baby sister Joshelyn; brothers, Walter, Jordan, C.J., Lil Josh, Dorian, and Elijah; grandparents Evelyn Hennigan; Rechel and John Harvey; great grandmother, Mrs. Frankie Lee Johnson; aunt “Na Na”, Crystal Hennigan; uncles, Trinity Johnson, Jeff Vincent, Charles Vincent, Ramon “Bubba” (Jade) Ellender, and Bruce Hennigan; numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Clinton Anderson, Sr. and Andy Hennigan; and great-great grandma Bessie Gamble.

The family would like to express special thanks to all our friends, the staff at Beauregard Memorial, Children's Hospital, N.O., Touro Hospital, and the Ronald McDonald House. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pentecostal Gospel Light House Church 305 Bryan St. DeRidder, LA 70634.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service is Friday May 1, 2015 at 11:00am at Pentecostal Gospel Lighthouse Church.  Rev. Ed Tilley will officiate.
