Prentice Hinson

Prentice Hinson, 77, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, April 27, 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Carolyn Hinson of Rosepine, LA; sons, Timothy Prentice Hinson of Dayton, TX and Tommy Landry and Cathy of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Sharon Kincannon and James of Baytown, TX, Angela Gray and Brian of Dayton, TX, Denise Roberts and Earl of Crosby, TX, Amanda Moffett and Ronnie of Dayton TX, Marie Garst and Kenny of Dry Creek, LA, Kathie Terry and Steve of Palm Bay, Florida and Laura Steele and Quinton of Lake Charles, LA ; sister, Ray Ella Self and G.C. of DeRidder, LA; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Lara Hinson; daughter, Selina Marie Elliott; one brother and five sisters.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 5:00-9:00 PM at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church in Rosepine, LA.  Funeral services will be held Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Rosepine United Pentecostal Church.  Burial will follow in Hinson Cemetery at Rosepine.
