Paul Eugene Amerson

Paul Eugene Amerson passed away April 19, 2016 at his home in Merryville, La. Paul was born June 9, 1953 in DeRidder, La. He was preceded in death by his father and mother David "Blue" and Ida Amerson, his wife, Rebecca "Becky" Amerson, and his two sons, David Paul Amerson and Frankie Paul Amerson.  He is survived by his children Alma (Larry) Day of Molino, Fl., Jennifer Amerson of Leesville, La., and Matthew Amerson of Molino, Fl., Grandchildren, Camron Day of Molino, Fl., Dominic Pilley of Leesville, La., Kristina Pilley of Leesville, La., and Shane Amerson of Merryville, La., sister, Susie (Jesse) Gill of Merryville, La., Brothers, Larry (Joyce) Amerson of Merryville, La., and Phillip Amerson of Merryville, La. Girlfriend, Diane Hudson of Merryville, La., and mother and first wife of two of his children Amanda "Lucy" Amerson of Jay, Fl.  Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, Aunts and Uncles.

Visitation and Funeral service will be held Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.  Visitation will begin at 2:00pm with funeral service beginning at 3:00pm.  Burial will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
