Pamela Rena Chavis

Pamela Rena Chavis, 60, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 26, 2018.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 44 years, John Chavis  of DeRidder, LA; son, John Earl Chavis, Jr. and Jessica of Lake Charles, LA; daughters, Michelle Rena Chavis Wright of Sulphur, LA, Rosemary Chavis- Ashworth and Quinndale of Sulphur, LA, Qiana Chavis & Cecil Stewart, Jr. of Killeen, TX and Velvet Archield Colton and Johnny of Lake Charles, LA; brothers, Ewel Archield and Mary Ethel of DeRidder, LA, Douglas Lynn Archield and Lula of Shreveport, LA; sisters, Hazel Spikes of DeRidder, LA and Ruby Jean Jenkins of Shreveport, LA; fourteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Leola Archield; brothers, Donald Joe Archield, Charles Archield, and Leo Archield, Jr.; and sisters, Shirley Scott, Anna Rose Archield, and Cecelia Archield.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in Deridder, LA.  Reverend Donald Chavis will officiate the service.
