Olivia Breland

Olivia Washington Breland, 84, of DeRidder, LA passed from this life on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Olivia was a homemaker and a devoted mother and grandmother. She loved to study the bible and was a longtime member of the Kingdom of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Olivia is loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Willie Finn Breland, Jr. and Andree of DeRidder, LA, Ollie Tyrone Breland of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Charlotte B. Martin of DeRidder, LA, Eria Faye Gilmore of Colorado Springs, CO; grandchildren, Anthony, Katherine, Julian, Jerry, Charlena, Olivia, Charles, Jr., McCary, Michael, Angela, Joseph, Jr., Sarah, Michelle, Alexandra, Cassandra; thirty-six great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Finn Breland, Sr.; daughters, Alicia Breland, Elaine Fuller; grandson, Adrian Breland; great grandson, Andrade McCasland; parents, Ollie and Eva Washington.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Tino Gill will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Anthony Breland, Jerry Breland, McCary Breland, Michael Breland, Joseph Fuller, Jr., Roy Hawkins, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Clarence “C.J.” Dukes, Artis Colton, Willie Finn Breland, Jr., Zackary Porta, Roger Palmer, Jr., Timothy Howard, Shaun Koerner, Ferrel Scarborough. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
