Ochel Berlyn Moses, 83, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, February 22, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of sixty-one and a half years, Lorine Moses of DeRidder, LA; son, Roger D. Moses and Belinda of Rosepine, LA; daughter, Pam Walley and Mike of Rosepine, LA; brother, Hershel M. Moses and Laverne of DeRidder, LA; daughter-in-law, Monique Moses of DeRidder, LA; step-sisters, Sue Jarrell and Robert of Leesville, LA, Jean Alesi and Larry of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Justin Moses and Megan of DeRidder, LA, Steven Rose and Brooke of DeRidder, LA, Jessica Chancey and Kevin of FL, Travis Moses and Caylee of Rosepine, LA, Mark Walley and Carly of Buna, TX, Brittany McCray and Parish of Rosepine, LA, Timothy Moses of DeRidder, LA; ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Moses; granddaughter, Karissa Walley; parents, Olinee and Agnes Moses; two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Pentecostal Gospel Lighthouse in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, February 25, 2022, also at Pentecostal Gospel Lighthouse. Reverend Phillip J. Davidson, Reverend A.A. Haymon, Reverend Eddie Tilley will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Justin Moses, Steven Rose, Travis Moses, Mark Walley, Timothy Moses, Parish McCray. Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
