Norwood Hickman, 77, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed from this life on Monday, December 21, 2020.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Linda Green Hickman of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Theresa Hickman Stout and Bobby of DeRidder, LA, JoAnn Hickman Farris and Bruce of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Andrew Cronce and Tiffany, Falon Farris, Ethan Rykard, McKenzie Pittman and Richie, Audrey Irvin and Larry; great grandchildren, Kynli, Alayna, Korben, Maci, Conway, Thomas; fur babies, Teenie & Tiny; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Hickman Rykard; parents, Newton and Lillie Hickman; brothers, Eugene Hickman, J.D. Hickman; sisters, Gladys Tweedel, Nelda Hickman Hebert.

Graveside funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Old Cypress Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.  There will be a funeral procession to the cemetery from Myers Colonial Funeral Home in Deridder, LA. Please meet at the funeral home at 9:30 to join the procession. Brother Doug Mitchell will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Old Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Norwood’s name to the Pine Ridge Baptist Church.
