Norris Gregory Cagle

Norris Gregory Cagle, 90 years old passed away on September 28, 2024, In DeRidder, LA due to complications from Alzheimer’s Disease. He had a heart of gold, an unforgetting smile, and love for all his family and friends.

He loved to watch sports on TV, especially LSU football, fishing at Toledo Bend, and talk about his lifetime stories. Greg had a mind fir real estate which began in 1966 while working with Normand Terry, Realtor in DeRidder. Greg later opened his own office called, Greg Cagle Realtor, and began a 40-year career in the business. He served as President of the Louisiana Realtors Association in 1984. He served on various real estate boards and committees, both state and local, until his retirement in 2006.

Gregory is survived by his loving wife of 47years Lorraine DeBate Cagle of DeRidder Louisiana, his younger brother, Steve Cagle and wife Kathy of Bossier City, LA, step children, Darrell Curtis and wife, Susan and Peggy C. Sylvest and husband, Benny, all of DeRidder, LA; 2 step grandsons, Garrett Sylvest of Baton Rouge, LA and Kyle Sylvest and wife Tracie of Hornbeck, LA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Norris H. "Bug" Cagle and Sylvia Jeffries Cagle of DeRidder and a brother, Donald Ray Cagle of Shreveport, LA.

Pursuant to his wishes there will be no funeral service.

Cremation has been entrusted to Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.
