Norma "Snookie" Gill Doswell 82, of DeRidder, Louisiana passed from this life on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 in DeRidder, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Bro. Frank Ott and Bro. Lindsey Burns will officiate. Interment will follow at Smyrna Cemetery in Sugartown, Louisiana.

Ms. Doswell is survived by Daughter: Patsy Raiford & husband Ed of DeRidder, Louisiana; Sister: Eula Gill Ewing & husband Elmer of Boyce, Louisiana; Grandchildren: Erin Nicole Raiford of Lafayette, Louisiana, Jason Kyle Raiford of DeRidder, Louisiana, Coy Edward Raiford of DeRidder, Louisiana, Andrea Leigh Fletcher of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Dustin Michael Fletcher of Westlake, Louisiana; Nieces: Cheryl McLeod of DeQuincy, Louisiana, Gwen Keran of Pensacola, Florida, Norma Faye Hackler of Austin, Texas, Kathy Nafe of Marshall, Texas.

Preceded in death by: Husband - Andrew Truette Doswell; Daughter - Peggy Nell Doswell Fletcher; Father - Roy Gill; Mother- Lizzie Gill.

Ms. Doswell will be dearly missed by a host of family and friends. She retired from the Beauregard Parish School Board with twenty years of service.
