Nelwyn J. Barnhill Mcinnis

Nelwyn J. Barnhill McInnis, 78, of Metairie, LA, passed from this life on Monday, October 29, 2018.

Mrs. McInnis was a real estate agent for more than 25 years in the New Orleans Metro area.  She was an avid golfer and piano player.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Billy Joe McInnis, Sr. of Metairie, LA; one son, Billy Joe McInnis, Jr. of Metairie, LA; aunt, Lois Galloway of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Sarah McInnis of Metairie, LA, Kaylieh McInnis of Covington, LA, Hannah McInnis of Metairie, LA, and Tyler Bell of New Orleans, LA; great grandchildren, Susie, Vera, Connor, and Jackson Culp all of Covington, LA, and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, A.L. and Vera Barnhill.

Visitation and funeral will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2018. Visitation will be at 12:00 PM followed by funeral service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Brother Jerry Key will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
