Nathan Lee Johns, 28, of LaRue, TX, passed from this life on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

Those left to cherish his memory are father, T. J. Johns and fiancé, Nicole Taylor of Lindale, TX; mother, Stacy Vernier and Russell Stone of LaRue, TX; brothers, Joshua Congleton and Fabiola of DeRidder, LA, Ryan Catlin Johns and Danielle of Newton, TX, Landon Lee Johns, Oliver Thomas Johns, both of Lindale, TX; sisters, Brittany Tran of Arlington, TX, Lahela M. Johns, Jade Adams, both of Lindale, TX; grandmother, Ada M. Smith of Rosepine, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Samuel Paul Johns; grandparents, George and Edna Vernier, Thomas L. Johns, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor Michael Bonds will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft, LA.
