Nancy L. Irwin

August 12, 1937 - April 25, 2014

Nancy L. Irwin, 76, of DeRidder, LA, passed away peacefully in Houston, TX, Friday, April 25, 2014.  Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Ludington Baptist Church in DeRidder, LA.  Her celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 2:00pm at Ludington Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Bro. Michael Allen will officiate.

Nancy had a strong love of God and Country.  Nancy loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was a faithful member at Ludington Baptist Church.  She was a loyal Role Player for Cubic Corp at Fort Polk, LA for the past 10 years.  She loved her job and took great pride in helping prepare the service men and women for combat.  Left to cherish her memories are 3 daughters, Vicki Barmore and husband Bo of DeRidder, LA, Pam Rose of San Marcos, TX, and Debbie Johnson and husband Ken of Houston, TX; brother, James Henderson of Toledo, OH; grandchildren, Jared Landry and wife Tina, Sarah Cooney and husband Marc, Eric Johnson, Amber Riche and Desiree’ Rose; great grandchildren, Kayden Landry, August and Bentley Johnson.
