Myron Leyester Williams

Myron Levester Williams, 49, of Mansfield, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, June 11, 2019.

Myron L. Williams was born in Merryville, LA on June 27, 1969 to Ester L. Williams and the late Osie S. Williams.  He was baptized at an early age.  Myron was a jack of all trades but his true passion and love was for truck driving.  He started driving at 21 years old.  He strived to be the best in everything he did and always excelled at it.  He found his work home with Doug Nichols at Nichols Trucking in Cloutierville, LA.  Family was always his first priority and he made each and everyone in his life feel extra special.  He enjoyed taking family trips, fishing and cooking.  He was the Chef of the family, boasting and bragging about every meal.  Myron’s smile and laugh were contagious.  He always had something up his sleeve.   When it came to pranking, no one was safe.

He is forever loved by his wife, Missy A. Williams of Mansfield, LA; sons, Avery Williams and Jasmine of Cleveland, TX,  Draye Allen of Mansfield, LA; daughter, Mya Williams of DeRidder, LA; loving mother, Ester L. Williams of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Otis Medlock of Alexandria, LA, Gil Ashworth and Sade of Beaumont, TX, Ahmad Williams and Lora of Weslaco, TX, Olan Williams and Kim of DeRidder, LA; sister, Oshika Box and Tarcus of Clarksville, TN; six grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

He was greeted in Heaven by his father, Osie S. Williams, his grandparents and a host of aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will start at 11:00 AM, at Grace Church in DeRidder, LA.  Brother George Glass will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Trollis Hickman, Stephen Hickman, Dwight Hickman, Mitchell Jordan, Quentin Williams, Torin Williams, Trennis Williams, and Derrick Robertson.  Honorary Pallbearers will be Ahmad Williams, Olan Williams, Tarcus Box, Mark Allen, Mike Allen, Eric Runge, Jed Savoie, and J.J. Cooley. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.

The family of Myron L. Williams would to express their appreciation to each of you for your kindness shown in prayer, thoughts and deeds.  Your presence here today is a great comfort, your continued prayers and support are welcome.
