Myrna Louise Smith Cooley, 57, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, December 10, 2023.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Brian Cooley and Bethany Perry of DeRidder, LA, Brandon Cooley of DeRidder, LA, Jared Cooley of DeRidder, LA; brother, Michael Smith of Beaumont, TX; sister, Edie Smith Steer; grandchildren, Ryan Ronald Cooley, Bexley Luna Cooley, Adalynn Margaret Cooley, Jackson Zane Cooley, Avery Marilyn Cooley and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Arlene Smith; brother, Stephen Smith.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, December 13, 2023, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.   Brother Vic Warrick will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Brian Cooley, Brandon Cooley, Jared Cooley, Thomas Paquin, David Carter, Ronald Cooley.  Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
