Milton Thomas, Jr., 60, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Thursday,
July 28, 2022.

Milton was a truck driver, brick mason, mechanic and also did radiator repair throughout his life. He liked to fish and BBQ for his family. He was best known for his delicious brisket and turkey necks. He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed by all who knew him.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of twenty four years, Marilyn Thomas of DeRidder, LA; sons, Korey Willis of DeRidder, LA, Jermaine Ashworth & Lana of San Marcus, TX; daughters, Kimberly Willis of DeRidder, LA, Jasmine Ashworth of Alexandria, LA, Teri Carroll & Charles Carroll, Jr. of Dallas, Myreshia Ashworth of DeRidder, LA; mother, Myrtle Heath of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Calvin Greene of DeRidder, LA, Wayne Greene & Juarren of Amarillo, TX, David Heath of DeRidder, LA, Tony Johnson of Merryville, LA; sisters, Sharon Greene of DeRidder, LA, Debra Jones of DeRidder, LA, Lisa Thomas of DeRidder; Alice Greene of DeRidder, LA, Guamma Goff & Terrell of Woodlands, TX, Lola Williamson & Robert of DeRidder, LA, Destiny Heath of DeRidder, LA; sister-in-law, Rhonda Greene of DeRidder, LA; thirteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Milton Thomas Sr., brother, Lionel Greene; grandparents, Wilbert & Edna McClinton.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM at
St. Mary COGIC in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at St. Mary COGIC in DeRidder, Louisiana. Bishop Hayes Kelly will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Quinndale Ashworth, Obie Ashworth, Adrian Thomas, Kurtis Greene, DeUntrae Mayes, Harold Chavis, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tony Johnson, Calvin Greene, Erol Wayne Greene, David Heath, Paul Ashworth, Michael Ashworth, Robert Williams, Terrell Goff. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
