Milton Harlow

Retired Sgt-Major Milton Ralph Harlow, 93, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, February, 22, 2022.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Luis Antonio “Tony” Ramirez and Salesa of Everett, WA; daughters, Lorene Griggs and David of Acworth, GA, Cathy Harlow of Jacksonville, FL, Pam Jones of Columbus, GA, Deborah Rock of Natchitoches, LA, Aida Rodriquez of Manteca, CA, Anastacia “Ana” Harlow and fiancé Joshua LaMonte of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Donald Harlow and Sandy of Kellogg, MN; sisters, Naomi Black of Rochester, MN, and Marian Jagodzinski of Minneapolis MN; sister-in-law, Tweety Harlow of Stillwater, MN; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and three great- great grandchildren; best friend, Samantha LaMonte Reeves; fur babies, Truman and Chula and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alicia Hernandez Harlow; parents, Olin and Lorene Harlow, brothers, Clayton Harlow and Richard Harlow, sister, Mary Lou Schouweiler.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 5:00 PM To 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, February 28, 2022 at Leesville First Assembly of God Church in Leesville, LA.  Pastor Danny Baker will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Joshua LaMonte, Charles LaMonte, Jr., David Griggs, Kyle Long, Camilo Hernandez, Jr., Samuel Carrion. Honorary pallbearers will be Levi Long, Ricardo Ramirez, Jr., Christopher Moses, Christopher Cave, Brian Cave. Burial will be held at the Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
