Mildred Jones

Mildred Jones, 67, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, June 14, 2014 in DeRidder, LA.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Cordelia Peevy and boyfriend, Wayne Bourque of Merryville, LA; brother, John McMillian and wife Bonnie of Merryville, LA; sister, Mary McMillian Ledoux and husband Frank of DeRidder, LA; daughter and grandson of the heart, Michelle Farr and Wesley Winegeart; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Peevy; second husband, John R. Jones, Jr.; parents, Ray and Leona McMillian; sister; Kathy Hamous.

Visitation and funeral services will be held Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Cooper Cemetery Chapel.  Visitation will begin at 1:00pm until time of funeral service at 2:00pm.  Rev. Tommy Hall will officiate.
