Michael Wells

Michael Wells, 65, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed away on August 5, 2022, at Morristown Medical Center.

Born in Rosepine, Louisiana, Michael moved to Roselle, New Jersey, where he lived for 25 years. Michael moved back to Louisiana, residing there for the past four years.

Michael was an Electrician with Local 3 IBEW in New York for fifteen years. Michael also owned the carpet cleaning company, Color Clean, Inc., based in DeRidder, Louisiana and Elizabeth, New Jersey for 30 years.

Michael is survived by his devoted daughter, Gloria Morera-Ross and her husband, John Ross, adoring grandchildren, Janivel, Avani, Savannah, and Jonathan, caring sister, Debbie Wood, and cherished niece and nephew, Christy Bergstrom and Charlie Wood. Michael is predeceased by his beloved parents, Jerry and Melba Faye Wells.

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Pastor Bobby Ganaway will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, Louisiana.
