Michael “Mickey” Lewis, 56, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, January 1, 2017.

Those left to cherish his memory are his spouse, Jenifer Lewis; mother, Margie McDonald and step-father, Jimmy of Pitkin, LA; mother-in-law, Joan Thompson of DeRidder, LA; sons, John Lewis and wife Suzette of Merryville, LA, Josh Lewis of Merryville, LA, John Mark Holliday and wife Jillian of Ragley, LA and Tye Holliday and wife Kayla of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Brandi Shuff and husband Lee of Rosepine LA; sisters, Dianne Davis of Pitkin, LA, Renee’ Galloway and husband Malvern of Merryville, LA, and Lisa Thompson of Pitkin, LA; grandchildren, Blayne Lewis, Briley Lewis, Lexi Shuff, Jena Shuff and Remi Shuff, Joslynn Romero, Damion Romero;  and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Lewis.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2017 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Rev. Roger Longoria and Rev. Jason Fortenberry will officiate.  Burial will follow at Cooper Cemetery in Merryville, La.
