Michael David Cates, 36, of Longville, LA, passed from this life Saturday, November 21, 2015 at his home.  Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Elise Cates of Longville, LA; brothers, Harry Shelton Cates, Jr. and James Roland Jackson; sister, Brenda Sheryl Shell and husband Oscar “Pudgie”.  He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Cates, Sr.

Funeral service will be Monday, November 23, 2015 at 2:00pm at Longville Pentecostal Church in Longville, LA.  Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA.  Bro. Larry Talent will officiate.
