Michael Charles Johnson, 65, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Friday, July 31, 2015 at his home.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Janice Culver Johnson; son, Michael Johnson and wife Brandie; daughter, Jacqueline Johnson Tyson and husband Raymond all of DeRidder, LA; brother, Larry Johnson of Jackson, MI; sisters, Bobbie Sue Johnson Albright of Bakersfield, CA, Candace Johnson McCullough and husband Butch of Hillsdale MI, Robin Johnson Woods and husband Kelly of Robards, KY, and Charla Johnson Parish and husband Harold of Henderson, KY; grandchildren, Kayla Tyson Young, Danielle Tyson Sonnier, Stephanie Tyson, Shelby Johnson, Trey Johnson, Jake Johnson, Harlie Johnson, Ricky Brown II, Gavin and Dawson Hebert; and great grandchildren, Hunter Young, Kylie Young, Dixie Sonnier, Riggin Woofter, and Ryder Woofter.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Irma Johnson; and brother, Tim Johnson.

Visitation will be held Monday, August 3, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Christway Church in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service is Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 10:00am at Christway Church.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Rev. Vic Warrick will officiate.  Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
