Merline Manino Whiddon Williams

Merline Manino Whiddon Williams, 88, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 4, 2015.  Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Julene Whiddon Quave; daughter-in-law, Dale Whiddon both of Merryville, LA; brothers, Johnny Manino and wife Frances of Merryville, LA and David Luke Manino of Many, LA; sister, Evelyn Manino Vawter of Louisa, VA; stepson, Wayne Williams and wife Diane of Merryville, LA; step daughters, Betty DeVore and husband D.A. of Merryville, LA, Margie Greninger of Merryville, LA, and Patsy Corbett and husband Eddie of Hornbeck, LA; grandchildren, Lisa Quave and husband Donnie of Merryville, LA, Derek Quave and wife Jennifer of DeQuincy, LA, Rhonda Farris and husband Cade of DeRidder, LA, Chris Whiddon and wife Nancy of Merryville, LA, and Jimmie Lea Williamson and husband James of Merryville, LA; 13 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren, 27 step great grandchildren; 10 step great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Pearl Manino; husband, Henry Whiddon; son, Jimmy Wayne Whiddon; and husband Curtis Williams.

Visitation will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in the Junction, LA on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 4:00pm until 9:00pm and Friday, March 6, 2015 from 9:00am until 2:00pm.  Funeral service is Friday, March 6, 2015 at 2:00pm at Calvary Baptist Church.  Burial will follow at Hennigan Cemetery in Merryville, LA.  Rev. Jim Miers will officiate.
