Melissa Mae Bingham

Melissa Mae Bingham, 48, of Longville, LA, passed from this life on Monday, January 21, 2019.

Lisa loved to listen to her favorite gospel group “The Gathers”.  She spent her time enjoying the kids that were so precious to her.  Crossword puzzles were a pastime that she would keep busy with.

Those left to cherish her memory are mother, Ruby Pearl Bingham of Longville. LA; brother, Hobbie and Kimberly Bingham of Longville, LA; sisters, Susie and Carrol Grimes of Moss Bluff, LA and Melinda and Jeffery Huckaby of Longville, LA, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alex David Bingham; grandparents, Hobbie and Susie Alston

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM on Thursday, January 24, 2019 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Brother Alfred Gibson will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Justin Bingham, Cade Grimes, Cody Grimes, Howard Spears, LaRoy Benham and Jimmy Huckaby. Burial will follow at Alston Cemetery in DeQuincy, LA.
