Melba Faye Wells

Melba Faye Cryer Wells, 83, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, November 27, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of sixty-seven years, Jerry D. Wells of Rosepine, LA; son, Michael Wells of Rosepine, LA; daughter, Debbie Wood and Charlie of Silsbee, TX; brother, Harold Cryer of SC; grandchildren, Christi Bergstrom and Justin, Charlie Wood, Jr. and Courtney, Gloria Ross and John; great grandchildren, Chloe Wood, Janivel Ross, Savannah Ross, John Ross, Jr., Ava Ross and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Bertie Cryer; brothers, James Cryer, Ronald Cryer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 12:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Pastor George Lee Glass will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Burial will follow at Rosepine Cemetery in Rosepine, LA.
